I actually run the House of Boost Dedicated 8rib set up on my 2008 GMC 5.3L.
(They used my truck to do the R&D on the 2007+ full system they are coming out with)

I can say that I have no rubbing issues at all on the bracket. (will post pics)
And that I run the HoB modified factory balancer. (not the ATI Damper) Since I had the stock motor, there was no reason for me to spend the extra money on the ATI unit.

All and all the kit was super easy to put on, did it in my garage on a weekend, and never had to jack the truck up, or open up any fluid systems.

No idea on power numbers, since I just street tuned it with EFIlive and a wideband. It makes more then enough though, since I use the truck to rack up miles hauling my MX bike(s) to and from races. It just made it that much more fun.

I'm not really going after a set 1/4 mile time. I just want a fun daily driver.. Although, I found that I get bored with time and keep pushing the envelope.....
