I totally agree. I am more thinking along the lines of building a 11.5 truck and then striping it down adding power and losing as much weight as possible. Then going for a glory run before getting kicked out for lack of safety gear. You are totally right that the support stuff adds weight fast. I do wonder how much faster an average joe could go if he gave up, AC, stereo, interior, etc.

Not fast enough to offset loosing the AC.
The amount of real weight gone to now adding an ice chest to keep cold drinking water for you while driving.
Been there done that in my camaro.

Just turn the **** up on the boost controller.
