any one going 9's with a 4.8 yet?

That converter should have like 5% or less at the top end. Ive been told Coan converters are sweet! But I've never seen a truck build with one so be sure to keep us posted on how it is.
The local shop that will be doing the work for my truck recommends them highly. So I may personally get one from them too.

Yes and it should be noted that I'm still 4100lbs. You guys tossing around the idea of gutting a truck to under 4000lbs have more work ahead than you think. Especially adding the weight of FI and an A2W that is sized decently and a cage to bust out those times.

free to rip crap off you don't use anyway. things you do for a fast truck. my heat and radio hadn't been on for 3 yrs. something tells me I won't miss it. plus cut off wheels, hole saws, and sawzalls are pretty fun to play with.

Haha that's very inspirational. It's just too nice. Prob better off selling it/parting out and starting over with a beater since its all gotta change anyway. At least that's what I'm telling myself.

Na, cut it up! Don't be skeerd, it's just a truck.
Like he said "IT'S FUN TO PLAY WITH POWER TOOLS"
Loose 1500 lbs, turn that 11.xx into 10s then loose couple more lbs go 9s, grab another blower, go 8s

I can't tell you how many times I've told my wife that I should have started with a used truck. It was too late to start over a long time ago. My truck probably doesn't have 20k miles on it.
