Mine went 10.17@134 with a soft 1.57 60. That tune up made just under 800HP on the dyno. However I got a little carried away with how easy the truck made power and turned her up another 120+HP before ever getting back to the track. I think a setup 800HP 4.8 in a truck lighter then my full weight 4580 (leather, a/c, towing package, load bags, amps/subs) fat chick setup, should go 9s no problem.

Lol, well if I didn't red light all night that night as I was racing No One, maybe the two step could of popped a couple more times to help her get back into the 1.49s she had a few times at that track.

Thats pretty sick man. I'm going to see what I can cut with hydroboost and a converter change but might end up ordering a Jakes trans brake. We'll see what my turd will cut before I go that route.

I'm anxious to see how all you other 4.8L guys do. Has anyone besides Foose even been deep 10's with the 4.8L? I've seen a bunch of 10.75's or so but not low 10's.

Oakley is all over it. Non-Flipped, Leafs with Cals, no overload.

Oakley, good luck with the hydroboost. I have heard mostly good things about it.

I am doing everything I can just to see 10's so trust me it isn't easy. I had a horribly loose converter holding me back (25% slip up top). had Coan custom make one, should be good there now. weight down to around 4000#. power should be 700rwhp now. soon as temps get a little lower i'll see what it does.
