I really like the design on this kit and would like to put a low mount on my truck but it is lowered 2 inches in the front. would like some opinions from some of you who might have it with a lowered truck. thanks fellas

 

I'm sure the 2inch wouldn't be an issue. That's not that low I wouldn't guess it would be an issue.

 

I have never actually looked at one untill now, looks pretty bad ***, I would like to know how low you can be and still use one

 

I had one on my s10 that was a 3/4 drop. It did get a little scratch here and there on big inclines or huge speed bumps. 2inch should be safe. Like always, just go a little slower.

 

I personally wouldn't risk it. One smack, and it's gonna be $. Just pony up and get the standard front mount kit, IMO.

 

I looked at this kit when I decided on my KBRacing front high mount setup.... with my truck at a 3/5 drop it would have been WAY too low... the compressor housing would have been only a couple inches off the ground at ride height, add ssupension compression into that, it would have been ugly....

-that being said, with a stock height or 4wd truck, the trick low mount would be a really nice setup...
