Starting your own thread would be a good place to start.

I'll rephrase it instead. Never meant to come off as a hijack.

The build looks awesome, OP. I see you are opting for the LS6 cam over something custom. I saw you are going for a conservative horsepower goal.

If he wanted to, what kind of power can he expect to make if he wanted to go all out on the 4.8L block with LS6 cam and stock heads? Would you consider using a set of heads like the 243s?

I like this.
I want to keep mine fairly tame too, I'd rather sacrifice 50hp for more reliability. I think 450ish is gonna be the magic number for me.

I'm not sure how the LS6 cam would perform in a TT setup.

Ya I loved Rick's old truck. I got the black valance on order and I'm gonna swap to the OEM mirrors ptm and that'll be all she wrote for the exterior. These headlights have some stress fractures in them I assume from being cleared so will probably replace them at some point too

No sweat man. As far as the LS6 cam over a custom grind, its mainly because its a proven cam when it comes to boost application that sells for fairly inexpensive. Plus it should have a nice idle.

Check out Foose04 and Jake99, both of these guys are putting down some great numbers through 4.8s (not to exclude anybody else, those are just two off the top of my head).

I do believe most people have said the 255 starts running out of steam on the RETURN style systems around 500-550hp. Thats the reason I went with it for now. So that I wont push myself to far power wise.

That's the same thing I was thinking lol. 255 and a set of 60lbers will only go so far.
