I still want TVS, I just have to find a buyer for the piping first.

Just do the damn turbo thing all ready!!! Look at Foose's truck. He pulls that big as baja boat with his 4.8/turbo setup no problem! Besides, if you size the turbo right you MIGHT actually be able to hook on the street for the first few feet .

Why do you prefer the tvs over other brands like whipple?

The piping is KB Racing. It's not that I'm afraid of not liking the turbo, I'm sure I will once its done if I decide to stay that route. I just know my power goals are easily achievable with a blower, I think they look a lot cleaner, and I KNOW they're easy as pie to install lol.

Not really that much of a "preference"... I just don't think Whipple or Lysholm makes a kit for 99-06. Plus I like all of the support this site has on the Maggie's and they're pretty proven lol.

I need to do some butt dyno on a turbo truck and a blower truck

My friends are having good results and with their 2.9's on their vettes and camaros... that's why I asked.

2.3L Whipple for your truck
Whipple Industries

New Era Performance, on here, is making like 14psi on their stock engine 5.3 nnbs silverado. he seemed to favor the whipple over the tvs for numerous reasons...
