Default All oem 90mm tb's interchange?

Are all car and truck throttle bodies interchangeable? Ls2, ls3, l99, later 4 bolt vortecs etc...? What are the functional differences, if any between the 4 bolt tb's? My application is an 04 lq4 w/ a m112 magnacharger w/90mm j-tube controlled by an 03-04 truck computer DBW w/4l80 in a 55 chevy wagon. What OEM tb's will work for me?

The silver blade LS2/LS3/LS7 tb will work for you with the torque rush converter. That is what I'm running in my 03 LQ4 computer.

I think I remember that the gold blade tb opened the opposite direction and wouldn't fully go WOT with our computers.

I'm pretty sure the ls2/ls7 are the exact same and the ls3 is the one with the gold blade. Also, the 4 bolt throttle bodies that come on the newer trucks are only 87mm.

So would a 87mm truck TB be a restriction? Oakley let me know when you are ready to sell that converter.

Anyone notice that the LS9 uses a 87mm truck throttle body?

All the way to floor (and trying to push through the floor) mine only shows 97% travel. Rewired my engine harness so there ain't no going back to 78mm tb now.

The LS2/LS7 have the silver blade. The early LS3's also had the silver blade. After about 2009 or 2010, they switched to a reverse open gold blade 90mm. When I was doing my research before I bought my LS2/3/7 silver blade, about a year ago, everyone was having problems with the gold blade opening all the way up. I would be interested to see if they got that problem worked out like RS/SS said because the gold blade is MUCH cheaper.
