Default 90mm Tb necessary?

I am running a forged 6.0 with a vortech s/c at 11 psi. The truck runs very strong (et 11.3). I am currently running a truck intake and 78mm tb, on ported 317 heads. My question is, will doing a different intake (vic jr, etc) and a 90 mm tb be worth the price? If anyone has done the conversion on a boosted motor, what were your gains? Thanks.

I run a 136mph in the 1/4 with the stock truck intake and tb, it's turbocharged, but same principle, forcing air into the engine.

Will you see a gain? YES
Is it worth it? Depends on your budget vs power gains.

On a blow through it is not as vital as a draw through. Although I am sure you would see some gains.

My main concern with the whole deal is I want to buy a nitrous plate and run a 50-75 shot, and I hate to buy a 78mm plate and then decide I need to do a 90mm tb and have to buy another plate.

If you have more cubes in your future, I would suggest a larger TB.

I guess that all depends on how long this motor stays together!

As a thread hijacker, I'd like to know how vital it would be on a draw-through. How much increase would I see, going to the 90mm throttle, on my heads, cam, Vic Jr, and headers 408?
