Why so many bungs?

For the EVAC, just tee it into any of those vac lines.

Looks great Jim! I've been thinking of trying this for mine as a ram-air N/A set-up.

Erik, do you know if i can just cut the stock metal fuel line and use those fittings you posted up? i could cut them prety low back there and clean it up nicely.[/QUOTE]

Mr. Parish, I think it is the mac tools or snap-on that has a new tool to make the special flare on the metal line that is used in the quick disconnect fitting on the factory lines. It is the neatest tool i have seen in a long time but it is a little pricy at just under 500 bucks. Napa sells a repair kit that we use in our shop to make the black plastic lines and I personally really like it becuase of the lack of heat held. This kit is much cheaper than the other so it is what ever works for you and your setup. Just a little shop info for you, keep up the good work and can't wait to see it in action.

Parish, I don't mean to be a nit picker but I am a little worried about to brake booster fitting in the runner in#8 runner. Ford had a huge problem doing this on the late 80's to late 90's on the 5.0L 5.8L truck engines. They were having burnt pistons due to a lean condition on the cylinder that the brake booster was hooked to and the released a tsb on it to move it the the central portion of the manifold to fix the issue. I would move it to the center pad on the back of the elbow just to be on the safe side. I don't want to see something to happen to your motor, we are all in this together!

I was wondering about this too......
Seams how this intake is used to help equal out all the cylinders.

Yeah, it can cause that cylinder it run richer than the other three and that will throw off your bank tune and could cause a lean condition on the front three cylinders of that side of the motor and the only real way to test this is the use the innovate eight cylinder wide band tester which is really expensive and a pain to set up and use because there are eight wideband sensors. It is a great looking setup and I would hate to see something happen to it.

How often are you on the brakes and WOT at the same time? And correct me if i'm wrong but I don't think there is a constant flow of air through the brake booster line, unless the diagphram is busted.

Why not just run a stand alone vacum pump for the brake booster??? Or I guess this is were you may want the hydro boost brakes...???

there is a check valve on that line going to the brake booster. anytime i am under boost there will be no flow. when under vacume there might be some flow but only when i stab the brakes. i dont think it is anything to worry about.

lots of bungs for lots of vacume/boost signals. one to the fuel presure reg. one to the old map(not sure if i even need that anymore), one to the new map, one to the hobs switch for the 2nd fuel pump, one to the boost controler.
