6.7 LQ9 EXT Needs to be Blown!
Hey I have a 2005 Escalade EXT 2 wheel drive converted with a built 4 L 80 e transmission with a 3600 stall triple-disc Billet Circle D transmission with a Eaton posi Detroit truetrac 4:56 rear end. I have a 408 Stroker iron block forged LSX engine it has flat top pistons with valve relief from CP Carrillo. I currently don't know the compression ratio I think it's at a 10.5 up to 11.1. My plan was to get a LSA supercharger from a ZL1 but was told since I have a 408 stroker I should look into getting a bigger supercharger like Whipple 2.9 or some other type of roots style since my truck weighs 6060lb that's with the heavy wheels and 400lb audio system. I also been recommended to do turbo but I'm not a fan of Turbo and having to spool it up. My truck is a daily driver I'm not making it a track truck just Street and strip mostly Street and to have fun on daily drives. So what blower do y'all recommend me getting?

#1 TVS 2650
#2 Whipple 2900
#3 TVS 2300
I personally wouldn't consider anything else except possibly an Edelbrock but I don't like it as well. Whipple is the **** imo lol.

You can get them on cathedrals... I have a 2.9 on a 4.8 right now
tell me more about your cam and converter. Honestly a direct drive procharger may be a good option for you. A high compression 408 with a decent stall speed... when you hit it off the line with any type of boost you will flash it to 4500 at a MINIMUM. A decent procharger would already be making some serious steam there. I have a feeling it will be the best fit to some of the key parts you already have.

I am biased lol and I have to revise because I missed the stall being 3600. It would BLOW through the fun part of a pd blower so no bueno unless you change the stall out or have it tightened. Agree with above, a PC would be a hell of a lot of fun and also would probably have lower IATs. I would go big enough though not a P1 on a 408.
