I personally wouldn't consider anything else except possibly an Edelbrock but I don't like it as well. Whipple is the **** imo lol.
out of the TVS and Whipple 2.9 is stronger?

tell me more about your cam and converter. Honestly a direct drive procharger may be a good option for you. A high compression 408 with a decent stall speed... when you hit it off the line with any type of boost you will flash it to 4500 at a MINIMUM. A decent procharger would already be making some serious steam there. I have a feeling it will be the best fit to some of the key parts you already have.
my cam is a 238/246 109 Texas Speed i don't think its ideal for F/I and my Converter is a 258mm 3600 Billet triple disk circle d

Agree with above, a PC would be a hell of a lot of fun and also would probably have lower IATs. I would go big enough though not a P1 on a 408.
i was interested in a D1SC also

I have a D1 kit with W2A I could sell you. We can discuss via PM, but since you'll want to know I would be looking for $3600 for it.

I intend to put a ported LSA on a 408 and shoot for 700, if it means anything to you.

Don't think anyone has tested side by side but the 2650 is later technology so...
But again, I would do a PC. And yeah that cam has too much overlap.

Thats an awful cam for a 6k truck. It'd run completely different with a cam that had -4 overlap.
