Default 6.2l or a new style 383 stroker motor

Cant decided on what to do cuz i want to make some more power. The decision is on either putting a 6.2L with either a D1 procharger or turbo VS a 383 stroker motor with the same combination of force induction. I keep changing my mind on the matter cuz of the fact that i keep hearing that smaller motors are producing bigger numbers now. Hit me up with opinions
and post up if you have a 6.2L with a turbo so i can see what type of kit you are running. If you have pics please show me

the 4.8's are making more power because they can handle higher boost levels than other ls engines. Have you boosted your 6.2l yet? If not I bet you would be very content with your power level from a turbo on that stock engine.

idk if you've noticed lately, but the 6.2s do not like boost as much as the smaller engines. I would just use your 5.3 with some headstuds and pulley down.

The 6.2 do fine with boost as long as your tune is right on. Any motor that goes lean during boost (like mine recently did) is not going to have a pretty outcome.

I plan to build.mine back up again, get larger injectors and put even more boost to mine in the future. Just need to make sure that tune is dialed in.

between you, naldie and three6 I'm losing faith in those l92s. I realize yours was a tune issue.

One was a boost spike, the other was prolly the tune too.

The E38 pcm's are more complicated than the old 0411's but it can be tuned just as well. Just takes more detailed tuning and more time.
