tray to get a 6.0 youll get the best of two worlds
more displacemnet than the 5.3 and ready big bore , and youll start with a solid Iron block , i just cant trust almnium blocks as DD for anything over 15lbs
thats just me , I might be wrong but thats just me.
i bought an LY6 for the same reason insted of building my alumnium 5.3 to 383 after spining the bearing
also took the 6.0 for the obviously better flowing heads
the LY6 comes at 9.6:1 CR
as for having a good rotating, the stock GM crank holds its on , some went 1200hp on F bodys on the LS1tech and most guys saythe never had a problem staying arround 800hp so all you really need is new rods and pistons with balancing the crank shaft and get some SS valves , i think youll hit 18 PSI no problem
