X2. I talked to someone at Kook's last week and they have some 1 7/8" stepped to 2". I wanna say they were somewhere between 1400 and 1500 bucks though for just the headers.

I have 1 7/8 headers on boosted 5.3 and it actually gained all around the powerband.

Any tests with header size on NA engines are null and void when it comes to boost

With a SC, almost always bigger is better

stock 5.3 id say you probably wouldnt notice a difference but with that tvs , the larger primary header will make more without a doubt. even if they made less , they are free in your case . i wouldnt think twice and ****** them suckas up.
As Chase said, & others, & I will too, they're free. So, they're perfect.
I haven't built as many things up as some on here, but if it were me, &
I was N/A, I'd say no, but your boosted appl. will smile IMO.

Don't know that I'd wanna spend that much on a set, even if Eva Longoria was gonna do me a favor or 2 afterward.

That's more than my Dynas were w/. the hi flo cats & Y pipe. Altho I have > that in my whole exh. system end-end, that's gettin a bit too steep. And I like top shelf stuff, I'm not gonna lie.

These headers are for my 1970 5.3LS SWB truck. I don't think my current Sanderson headers will work with any of the newer year Chevy. Currently my truck is NA, but it will be boosted.

Thanks for all the opinions.
