Making boost is making power... You gotta give it enough gas to make the boost, spin the tires or push though the brakes. You can't make boost with out making power If your worried about braking the tranny, then don't brake boost it hard. But you can't say it won't make boost when when you won't give it enough gas to do it!

Are you in Houston or Lubbuck right now? If your in Houston, bring it up to me and I'll see what you got goin on

Oh, and you have an 80e, your not gonna brake that tranny brake stalling it unless there is something else all ready wrong with it!

would I find this out just by trial and error? lol or is the 80e plenty capable of holding the power?

damn, you already answered the question I just posted lol I'll brake stall the hell out of it then next time. I guess I'm still use to the 4l60e

I'm in Lubbock right now.. I saw you moved to the Woodlands! now when I'm in town I can bother you in person instead of text messages/PMs

well... took the truck out tonight to do the brake stalling to see if it does anything different with more throttle

the brakes held good, went pretty much full throttle and the boost gauge maybe moved to about .10 lbs of boost.. will that help my launch? lol my RPMS don't go above barely 1500RPM, I need it to be at at least 2k RPM to get any boost (just watching it while driving)
