You know, ther more I think about the Vic Jr. the more I want to say go for it if you can afford it. Especially seeing the FI guys losing the 7th cylinder same as NA now... You can probably get the whole thing (parts-wise anyway) for around a grand total. You are already switching to big car injectors, so the major Vic Jr. fabrication requirement is gone.

I still think you can get away with the stock stuff at 750, but for as cheap as it is, why not go to a 90mm setup, better rails, etc.? I wouldn't do it for anything less than a high hp / high boost or storker NA setup.

why, why, why did i call whipple today?

3.3L whipple capable of well over 1000rwhp can be shipped in 1-2 weeks. ahhhh, i want that kit so bad. just about the same price as a custom turbo kit. I'm worried it will make way too much low end torque though.

someone help me decide.

Well, you could spend the money you are saving on manifolds on a nice 4-link suspension and slicks

Is it intercooled? If not do the turbo IMO.

A2W intercooler. the only think i'll have to do is have some sort of elbow made for the tb. doesn't seem like a big deal. i think starr has a setup i could buy also.

my god. i might do this. i didn't even think about the fact that i'll be saving $600+ by not having to bet a vic jr and elbow. My only problem is, Bryan at LME already ordered me a "turbo cam". I could always have him get me a "blower cam" and buy the turbo cam from him and sell it online.

I had better decide very soon before he installs the cam.

The right Turbo can make 2000hp,I don't see the point.Your still limited by the weight and octain on how much power it will make.

was that directed at me? not sure what is meant by that. Definately not trying to make 2000hp. not even trying to make 1000hp. i just want whatever setup is the most responsive on the street and that will let me hit 700+ hp on pump gas.

is that too much to ask?
