Go with the 427 and 88 just look at flacos lil sis it made over 1000hp

the second option is a very nice shortblock for only 3500

if you look on the third page a guy made 9xxrwhp on 20psi with a 408 then switched to there AES 390ci and made 10xxrwhp on a few pounds less boost. these are badass shortblocks and very reasonable price IMO. good luck with your build!
