That's a whole lotta cars and engine you just threw out there. I'm doing something similar with the engines and cars. Funny how a few of us are doing this stuff all at the same time!

Well it looks like plans are changing, what's new. Motor came out of the VHO over the weekend, and I have been on the phone with a few different engine builders today. I'm building a 370 for the VHO and will be keeping it turbo for now. I'm going to get it dropped off in the next week or so.

what would be the real life gas mileage difference between a 370 and 402/8? are we talking 5mpg or 1mpg? and would a tc78 with 68mm exhaust wheel inside a .96a/r housing flow enough for a 402 going no more than 210kpa?

I can tell you my T76 on my 370 maxes out at 175KPA here @6000'. A T78 on a 408 might hit 210KPA @ sealevel but would probably be on the edge.

That's part of the reason I went with the 370.
