Ran a 3.25" pulley on my 4.8 for about 3 years with no problems. Got 10 lb. boost, truck was a blast. But the truck is a 2003 w/ return-style fuel system, which does not go lean at high rpm's. I don't know what to say in your case.

right now I'm waiting on my 4l60 to get out of the shop it is getting built. I'm ordering long tube headers, meth injection kit and a 3.5 pulley. I am looking for a place here in orlando to do a custom tune for me so i don't mess anything up.

I think EFI Alchemy is in Fl and have heard good things about them. Wait until your tranny is built then put the pulley on and take it to a custom tuner. I wouldnt increase the boost with that shitty tune. You might be fine, but your playing with fire

throw a 3 inch pulley on there, it should put you at around 9 psi but make sre to get it tuned. as long as you dont drive it crazy your tranny should go for a while now that is built
