I know there are a few members on here that know how to tune forced induction. I want to learn how to use EFI to tune my own truck. Looking for someone who has the time and expertise to help me out. I would think this can be done via E-mail. I have no experience so this could be a tuff task. I think this would include how to set up EFI with my truck, going over data logs, advising on what changes should be made and how to make them. Stuff like that. When you say EFI, do you mean fuel injection in general or specifically EFI Live? There are two main software packages for these trucks; EFI Live and HPTuners. I use Hptuners (as do most people/shops it seems), and if you are interested in using the software I would be glad to help you out.

I've been tuning for about 10 years and have done all sorts of different combos.

 

EFI LIVE. I already own it. I purchased it because black bear performance uses it and thats who tuned my truck.

 

The principles are the same but they each have their quirks. Guess Atomic could give you some pointers but without having the same software, you'd have to research a lot on your own.

Atomic does my tuning btw. 11/10 would recommend

So I'm thinking it's an E38.

 

Its E38 09 silverado. Im not againts buying HP Tuners. I dont think I've used the credits yet so can probably sell EFI at a small loss..
