It has kind of a raspy sound when you rev it. I'll have to retune it because it''s runing rich now. I'll have to start all over on my tuning. It can only get better now. You know what they say practice makes perfect. oh yea it feels alot stronger now.
Man, I can't wait to do my cats.
I have a couple peices of stainless tubing and just have not had the time to do it yet. Going on another three day trip for work again in the morning, now I'm going to have to wait another four days to get to the shop and have the pipes welded after I cut them out.
Jerry did you notice any better spool up yet, or does it just have more power all round?

Lets just say on the 1-2 shift @ 50mph it gets sideways Spools up about the same as it did when i first installed the turbo. The cloged cats made it hit full boost as soon as you put the pedal to the floor. But it didn't have the power. Now the boost come on smoother instead of a 12psi spike then down to 9-10 psi. Now back to tuneing it. Logs look all screwy now.

Plan on putting a muffler because it's loud. Anybody have a suggestion on what mufler to go with. I need to get rid of the raspy exhaust. It's worst at part trottle.

I'm using the Turbosmart E-Boost controller. Not as upscale as the one Parish is using but has similar features. I think I paid about $425 for it. No more crawling under the truck and twisting a **** and guessing how much boost I'm gonna get with each twist. LOL

NP bro... I'll drop it off at Rick's in the next few weeks so when you pick up the FMIC you can check it out. It's actually a 2 5/8ths gauge with buttons on it. Pretty sweet

Same controller as this one?
They say it comes in a smaller size(60mm=2.362").
Wish I could find a 2-1/16 to fit in an A-Pillar pod with my other gages.

I think that is the newer model. I know they were changing mine soon so that might be it. Very similar though in appearance.
