Will I notice any difference at all between these two pulleys? I tried to get a 2.75 from Nelson but he's out and is not re-ordering, and the smallest that Magnuson sells is a 2.8. I found a couple other places that have 2.75's but they are expensive.

WHat do you have? The 3" right? I was gonna get the 2.75 as well, but he was out. I guess I'll settle for the 2.8, what's .05" in boost terms? Which brings up another question, if you were to go from the 3" to 2.8" what kinda of boost gain is that?

Yep I have a 3", I am looking at getting either a 2.8 or a 2.75. Looks like it won't make much difference in boost - I think I'll just get the 2.8 from Magnuson. Unless someone knows where I can get a 2.75 for a reasonable price (i.e. around $75 or less...)

I have swapped the pulley (2.75) to the 2.8 on the dyno and picked up nothing (no additional tuning). I chose to use the 2.8 just to help with the heat build-up.
I also swapped out the 2.8 for the 3.0 on the dyno and was able to add a little bit of timing to the 3.0 but the 2.8 had ~5RWHP more than the 3.0 with the added timing.
As BlownChevy stated, once you are under the 3.0 there isn't a ton to be gained,...at least on my application. Stick with the 2.8
BTW, I run the 2.8 all the time.
