the lines seem good i actually had a pin whole in one. it was right at the fitting so i cut it short and put it back on. then i ziptie the lines onto the fittings for a nice snug fit. and yes i have that little electric solenoid on there too. i know it is working for the most part cause i have higher boost with it turned on. before my cam swap it would give me 13psi. then i put in the ls6 cam and my high boost went to what the low boost is. and the low boost stayed the same. my guess is the extra output from the cam is overriding the actual valve in the wastegate. actual exhaust pressure helping to push it open

It doesn't sound to me like the solenoid is working. Anyway check it out. Get someone to switch it on while you stand close to it. You should be able to hear a definite click when it switches on. If you have to turn the engine on to get power to it then just run a line from the battery and it will be easier to hear if it clicks when you apply power to it.

No way you have a leak from the compressor in the intake tubing or in the IC? How about a leak in the intake? Is the nipple behind the TB plugged and not leaking? Do you have your PCV vented to the atmosphere and the nipple in the intake plugged. Is it sealed well? Just trying to think of some possibilities for a partial leak.

by slowly turning the **** up I've been getting the boost back. while the truck is down i may pull the hose off the turbo and put in my homemade pressure checker. i took a plastic cup and drilled a hole in it for a air hose connector. so i can put it right in the turbo coupler and pressurize the entire system. that's how i found out that my injectors were seated right when i first installed them. they would spray fuel back out at high pressure.

Good deal on the pressure checker, very innovative. I have seen ones by frozen boost and silicone intakes. That will sure point out any intake leaks.

I am not 100% sure but I don't think a cam had any effect on my boost level. I think I just left it and got the same 12 psi at the time on the STS. Turned it down a couple of turns for now but hope to sneak it back up if I can get comfortable with fuel. Running 9.5 - 9.9 with meth. So plenty rich at the moment. Just not sure how I want to lean it out and how much.

i'll probably check it out this weekend. i didn't even know they made those things lol.

i run 11.2-11.3 afr with my meth. its actually WW fluid. i adjusted my ve table and pe/be tables to fix my afr. i use the biggest pill that comes with the sts meth kit (m10 IIRC).

incase your wondering. i did a deinstall of a sts kit on a guys toyota. he let me keep what i wanted for payment. so i got the meth kit and the "eletronic" boost controller. and all the instructions for everything.
