well boys the cold shitty weather is approaching (i think lol)
just wanted to see if anyones got any plans for over the winter

i myself have decided to go wit a 99-02 Silverado front clip on the Sierra after seeing Badmofo's truck in person lol. gonna do the HD hood, Z71 hoe/burban grille painted to match, and a SS bumper cover & rollpan, already got some **** on order probably end up sellin the denalis and going wit powdercoated black SS wheels to like Spoolin. ive been pricing everything out and it shouldnt be that bad as i have alot of spare parts for the silvys

then while the front clip is off im gonna pull the motor and trans back out adn get everything cleaned up since its kinda a hack job now. gonna run the LS6 manifold and heads to. have the tranny built by one of our local guys wit some goodies and a new converter (SS3600). pull the 10 bolt outta the truck and have that built wit some 4.10s and a detroit.

needless to say i will be busy & broke this winter

 

Sounds like a hell of a plan Bill... I hope it comes together for you... my winter plans are pretty much just to keep mine going down the road... not much else.

 

thats strange LOL.... I really like the Sierra's front end... I'd like to put a Denali clip on mine.

ya i dunno what it is bout the silvys just like them alot better... figures i had a nali clip we coulda just traded everything straight up as i think we have the same colored trucks

 

Thats would have been nice LOL... mine's even got some painted/billet stuff in the frontend... Lemme see if I can find a pic as it sits now...

 

Sounds like a plan, but if I were you I would just get the GMC SS bumper cover and paint things to match. Keep your plan of the wheels and then get a billet grille powder coated black. I think it would look good, but I am more partial to the GMC front end then the Chevy..

 

 

you like them mirrors??? I think they came out nice... I did the bowtie and grille shell the same day... that bowtie is the stocker, I still have my billet aluminum one.

ya the mirros turned out awesome. i def love the painted bowtie, ive actually done some for ppl on here to where ive bought some extra ones and will just send em out to ppl if they want... there so easy to paint
