I didn't want to lock the 278mm base model Circle D.
You should have done a 3rd locked and your numbers would be alot higher. Why not lock the 278mm converter? It's got a bigger clutch then a smaller 9.5".

i agree. you are not locking it under wot, you are starting the run with it already locked, so it is not as hard on it.

I see.

Not worried about making big numbers. the 319hp is pretty accurate tho I think 341ft lbs is a bit high. I'm more worried about how well it'll move. Should find this out on Friday if all goes well this week.

Do you think a 2600 converter will be to low on a 6.0 using the same cam?

When I ran at the track I ran consistent 14.4-14.5 at 94mph. 60ft time was killing me at a 2.45 best.
A lil more stall or a touch bigger cam and I'da gotten the 60ft down.

No. 6.0 is going to produce more tq than the 5.3. Should pull off the line nicely.
