This was a chance for a bunch of locals to check out the shop and get a feel for if theyd like to have work done there buy seeing it and talking to the staff.

I dont think Rob was rushed and he would probably say the same but I could be wrong. The staff was just telling the truth and wanted to make sure other potential customers got a chance to get on the dyno and see there numbers too while having a good time also.

What I would love to see is some shops to start enclosing their shops and putting A/C in the shop while using exhaust vents to keep the fumes down. That would also allow a lot more consistent numbers and tuning.
What do you run in the quarter

Hard to say really. I completed my motor build around last Thanksgiving and really havent had a chance to take it to anything other than local 1/8 mile tracks. Im afraid if I go to anything other than track rentals that Id get kicked out for going to fast without a cage. The best Ive managed so far is 7.15 in the 1/8 which equals very low 11's in the 1/4 but that was on a low boost/timing street tune on pump gas in this hot summer air. Im hoping when set on kill in ideal weather with some c16 that Ill be able to knock off a mid 10 and with some weight reduction and 15" bogarts with hoosier slicks Ill be able to knock off a low 10.

****. any 10 would be ideal.

Do they still make lightenings or were they discontinued? (Dont bash me, I know zilch about fords)

There's a low 11 second white ford lightening in my neighborhood, has a kenne bell on it, his DD. Very nice truck, says Hemi killer on the back glass lol. he also has like a grey 02ish mustang GT thats lowered on black racing wheels and just by the sound of that thing its BAD. Word is it runs 8's, but I cant confirm that

Every good thing must come to an end I guess

But as far as your truck goes, I'd go and make at least 1 pass and try for 10's lol. All they can do is kick you out!
