Default ls6 cam in a 5.3

I have looked all over but, can't figure out what are the gains people are seeing with an ls6 cam n/a on a 5.3. I am just wondering if it would be worth the time to do or should I just save my money for a thunder racing cam. I am looking for a gain in power but still want to use my truck as a truck and don't want to have to use a stall bigger than 3000. Any info would be helpful.

on the 4.8 i think i read that it was something like 20-30 IIRC shouldn't be much more for the 5.3 if it's anything more at all

I like it a lot. I got the 224 on the 112 LSA I am still working out the tune but so far it is a bad *** cam.

put it this way...
if you don't want to run any higher than a 3000 stall, then the biggest i think you should go would be the tr220. assuming this is in a rcsb.

It is a rcsb I talked to you about it at a midnightmadness at no problem. What size is your cam?
