First dyno results

so what would be a nice set up this time? i'm on my 3rd cam , pushrods, valve springs, heads off, 6 tunes and alot of patience lost. Would cnc heads, headers, cat y-pipe be good this time? I have some other cams that might be good to use already with the right match. (I have a New Comp Custom 216/218 .561 .563 114+2) I'm looking for a N/A RWHP about 360-375 tq about the same. Whats a simple set up with whaty I have? With truck intake and 33lb injectors.

The ve's he ground tighter for more torque when towing he said, it didd improve that part of my mission. Just need a little more up top.

Since your going to keep the stock intake and at the most some pacesetter LT's with cats. I would start to think to a small reverse split cam. This is going to help with your poor flowing intake side.

Maybe like a 220/216?

You can never go wrong with the 212/218 comp HI lift camp BTW.

hey i got a header question. Do you really need coated headers or will painted work just as well?

Coated headers retain heat better and help keep temps down under the hood.

First I would put a good exhaust system on headers all the way back, that should pick it up considerably. Your arent going to achieve your goal with the factory exhaust/manifolds on an NA setup.
Not being an ******* but throwing parts and money at it isnt going to do anything its all about the synergy of the parts.

Thanks for all your help! what good header / high flow cat setup is good to bolt to a Corsa full exhaust system.? Bassani / kooks / stainless works/ hooker / pacesetter. should I change heads to some cnc ported while i do headers, is it going to help hp/tq enough for the money spent?

Personnaly from your goals and the cam I dont think cnc heads are worth it but will they help, yes. All you need on the heads is a bump in compression, springs and valve job. Im using thorleys and I like em cheap and they hold up, alot of people run pacesetters if you want to shell out the bucks for stainless works or dynatech great but I wouldnt expect much if any over the cheaper headers.

The y-pipe is crucial 2.5 to single 3" should be enough just get some U bends and cut/weld em up, Id definately gut whatever cat you put on there to pass inspection. Drop in a cutout after the y if you want works well for track day and got me the extra 1/10 even though my exhaust is completely open dumping it earlier can help with scavenging
