Default Wheel hop from hell

Any suggestions to help correct..I have no idea where to start.

1998 Chevy Short wheel base, standard cab. Has an Ls1 with a M6.
4.11 gears, posi 10 bolt. 4/6 drop. Original 6 cylinder leaf springs, flipped under axle to drop. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Try clamping the front section of the springs this will stiffen them preventing spring wrap up which causes wheel hop.

I am thinking a heavier duty spring, better shocks.

Start off with spring clamps and if that doesn't work move on to a Cal-Trac-like system...

Yeah the spring clamps will help some but you won't be happy until you get some real traction bars.
