Default Help with friends transmission

He has a 2000 Ram with 230XXX on the clock. We flushed his tranny at my shop and changed the tranny filter. The fluid was very black prior to the flush. He started having shifting problems shortly after. It kept popping out of OD. We added a quart of Lucas Tranny fix. Now when he put the truck in reverse, it dies. Anyone know whats up?

sounds like your governer pressure sensor, but if the fluid was black before the flush you will need a new transmission. the sensor might keep it from dying but its not going to stop the slipping or the od from disengaging
