Default Went to the 1/8th last night. Not all that happy

So went out to the local 1/8th mile track last night to get some new runs with the mods. Last August the truck ran a 10.4 @ around 65mph iirc with just k&n intake and flowmaster muffler. Last night it ran a 10.2 @ 71mph (with no spare tire also). I was freakin pissed, since last summers runs i added a 93oct blackbear tune and vette servo and took out the 3rd row. The truck feels much faster than last year so i was shooting for a 9.7. But didnt get it. Guess im asking too much out of a 5500 pound truck. Anyways just wanted to share the experience.

The weather right now sucks... To see real gains you need to look at the DA of both days to really tell gains or losses...

well look at the mph 6mph is damn good and leaving it running with the a/c on causes the IAT to jump threw the roof and you droped about 10* of timing and tqm kicked in as well so it will run the 9.7 if you let it sit off with the hood open, good luck.

way too hot for any decent times right now....you could see 1/2 second or so when the weather gets better, so that 9.7 might not be too far out of reach if all falls into place.
