I agree, the weather is no help. I never even go to the track in the summer except for special events. As for the weight of the truck, look around here. 5500lbs is fairly normal.

dont feel bad, Im in the same situation hoping the eweather has a little to do with it. My truck ran a consistent 9 flat @ 61.31 mph at the local 550 ft track. you were running a 660 ft track so I think you got me. lol

I don't even care to go when it's hot. I'll get discouraged with a slower e.t.!!! LOL.
