Default Weighed the A/C system tonight...

I got the A/C system off my truck tonight. Everything that is under the hood....3 lines, compressor w/bracket, condenser, canister w/bracket. Including the bolts the entire system weighed 28.8 lbs.

Just thought I would share the tech info.

Where does it end?
If u applied the rule of 100# = .1, u just gained .0288.
I think I like my comfort too much. Blown06, is this a DD & where do u live?

I thought the compressor would have weighed more.

Me too, I would have thought it weighed more. You could always add the few pounds of refrigerant as well.

I considered dropping it when I swapped my motor mostly to clean up the motor a bit. I hardly use it anyway.

I removed mine but it needed a $100 Dollar line to work so off it came. Otherwise I would have went on a 30 lb diet before taking it off my truck. I also don't drive my truck unless I want to or on the way to the track.
