Try this. I used to build full boost on my 07 like this. From a stop put it in neutral then let off the brake. Give it a pretty healthy rev, let off and then jam the brake. Now put it in gear and see how much you can build. I could leave at 4400 if I wanted on a 3k converter with disc brakes. Good luck!

my cam is on a 111 lsa. I think if the truck made alot more power it could handle a 3.42 gear. I would think it would still be faster with a 390-4.10 gear. My converter is built for my turbo set up. 3500 ptc, built with a nitrous stator so I can build boost at the line, but then it tightens up real quick. about 6% slip. Hydroboost would def help you out too.

Would a two step and the hydro boost conversion alone help me get boost off the line even with the small converter and oversized intake and cam??

Intake is costing you so much down low
That cam is wrong for such a heavier truck

Even if you do more boost on launch truck will still be a dog thru most of run

Wahh!! It just sucks because I really don't wana buy a FAST because they are so $$$, and I already had two stock intakes that where blowing smoke at the seams when smoke tested.

I know, that's what I hear. Mabye nobody has ever had them smoke tested and maybe it's not leaking enough to make a difference but I did have two that leaked at the seems and one being brand new out of the box.
