Try this. I used to build full boost on my 07 like this. From a stop put it in neutral then let off the brake. Give it a pretty healthy rev, let off and then jam the brake. Now put it in gear and see how much you can build. I could leave at 4400 if I wanted on a 3k converter with disc brakes. Good luck!

my cam is on a 111 lsa. I think if the truck made alot more power it could handle a 3.42 gear. I would think it would still be faster with a 390-4.10 gear. My converter is built for my turbo set up. 3500 ptc, built with a nitrous stator so I can build boost at the line, but then it tightens up real quick. about 6% slip. Hydroboost would def help you out too.

I don't get that part... I know quite a few local guys and several TBSS pushing 15+ psi through those intakes

I know, that's what I hear. Mabye nobody has ever had them smoke tested and maybe it's not leaking enough to make a difference but I did have two that leaked at the seems and one being brand new out of the box.
