Looking for some advice from the more knowledgable/senior members here.
Here are the stats on the truck.
- 2011 GMC Sierra ECRB, 2wd.
- 5.3, 224/228@114 comp cam, Brian Tooley dual springs, TSP pushrods, LS7 lifters, Melling oil pump.
- Holley Hi-Ram intake and rails with 95LB Bosch injectors, return fuel system with a single Walbro 450 and a Holley fuel pressure regulator.
- Turbo kit is a stage III Trick kit with a 75/75 Turbonetics set to 9LBS via waste gate spring.
- Stock 6l80e with 2800 single disk Yank, 2 piece steel driveshaft, stock 3.42 gears with Eaton true-trac.
- Suspension mods are drop shackles, rear blocks removed and VAS traction bars.
- Running 15x10 Cragars with 28" Mt's
- Spare tire and hitch removed along with the back fold up seats removed as well.
Truck made 545 rwhp on 9LBS and e85. I feel like the truck should be a lot faster for what it is. Obviously my combination is off but I honestly don't know where to start. I was thinking maybe a bigger converter?? Anyways, attached below is a picture of my dyno graph and my time slip. Let me know what you think, thanks!!

Intake is totally wrong for combo
And my truck is 4wd and crewcab with 540rwhp went 12.5@113 stock truck intake ftw
Much smaller cam and no stall
Get a smaller cam
Stock intake
And have at it

I ran a 7.69 at 89, 12.09 at 110 with a 1.69 60ft, to give you an idea. You need to leave under boost though or its not going to get much better, unless you have a looser converter, but you will loose out on top end. Ive added 4l80e swap, ptc 3500 converter, and went from 10-15lbs. I build 8-10 lbs with a 2 step and cut 1.54-156s and my time dropped to 11.02 at 121.2. I also run stock intake, tb, etc, and have a 70mm turbo.
