Default STS times first time in the 1/4

I made it down to the 1/4 mile track last weekend with the STS kit at 10psi. I had my tune a pretty rich but I didn't do bad for the first time at the track. The DA was around 2200.

Here is my best run.

60ft 1.967
330 5.578
1/8 8.577
MPH 82.09
1000 11.181
1/4 13.406
MPH 101.29

I am running a 60-1 until I swap it out for a MP70 tomorrow. I will probably head back to the track in a couple of weeks to see how much I gain.

Good to get you a baseline. Your numbers look a lot like mine. We need to get our 60' down. Can youbuild any boost on the line with that converter? I start smoking the tires at -3 on my boost gauge so my 60's are slow or smoke shows

Keep us up on that 70 upgade, I want to get a bigger turbo as well. I'd like a converter, but gas prices are crazy and my truck is my DD.

Later, Rodney

Luckily I have 4wd so I can build as much boost as I want off of the line. I was launching at 6psi and running all the way through in 4wd. I thought I would be a little faster but it was so hot that day that everyone was running slower. I didn't check my logs until I got home and I was pulling 3.5 degrees of timing because of the heat which I'm sure was hurting me. The night before I went to the track I logged some pulls when it was 68 degrees outside and my 0-60 was in the 4.45 second range. At the track in 88 dregree heat my 0-60 was in the 4.95 range so I know it has more in it.

I am going to swap the mp70 on with a .68 housing for now and see how it spools and then maybe step up to the bigger housing which came with my turbo as well. I will let you know how it does.
