yeah she is a very solid little car. i wouldnt hesitate one bit to drive it cross country and stop at tracks along the way with nothing more then a spare and some basic tools.

I was being a smart *** about records. The claim of a record doesn't bother me too much but I know it drives some people around here absolutely nuts.

It is very impressive what you have done. In all seriousness I would say the "record" for fastest stock bottom end 4.8 is a fairly legit one. Unlike guys who set 15 stipulations then claim they have a "record" because no one will ever have a vehicle similar. I hope she keeps roaring for you.

That is more impressive that was on radials!

i got yah now, yeah i agree on the stipulations, basically i only pay attention to two types of records, 1 is a completely stock long block, these type impress me the most, i was able to get 9.7 out of a totally untouched ls6. and 2 are those who might use heads and cam and intake but dont upgrade the bottom end to after market parts. this type of builds make it possible for experimenting with different combos to make the power while at the same time seeing just how strong the stock parts can be.

That is one purdy ride! I want to do one of these, or a porshe 944. Why a 200r4 and not a 4l80? stock rearend? what suspension setup are you running? Very, very nice
