I got a buddy with a s10 with a vortech 350 in it. its nothing special stock pistons cam ect its on a holly 650 carb. trans is stock converter, has 3.42 gears truck is 2wd and weighingaroun 34xxlbs. id be racing with my truck in sig, we have a mutual friend who says that it would be a close race and would come down to who got the jump at the line. weve had terriable air around here latley so the 14.6 is more like a 14.9/15.0. should i call his $200 wager? 200$ is hard to come by for me right now, id say i got him but unsure. what yall think? mytruck weighs at a hefty 5575lbs.

never bet on anything unless you really could not give a **** if you lost. sounds stupid to me. instead pocket a 100 and buy a 100 dollar scratch off.... if you lose your only out 100 if you win you'll get allot more!

if you're going to put money on the race it must be from a dig. use that 4x4 button and pray he doesnt hook. those ol 5.7 vortecs are pretty damn torquey down low so that s10 should blow the tires off while you show him what a 4x4 can do.
if he insists on a roll, you're probably better off keeping that money in your pocket.

Keep your money. at 14.6 or worse 14.9 with your weather, he could probably blow the tires off and still catch you. I would say you don't stand a chance unless he wants to tug o war.

Had an S15 Jimmy with a 350 with smog heads & baby cam. Ran an 8.9 1/8 with 3.73s and leaving at 2k. 7.90 with a 125 shot. Don't do it.
