Nust curious you a thread a little while ago about converters.
Have played around with locking it? I played around locking mine when i had a turbo and it would really started pulling.

You talking about the older guy with the white hair? He did the same to me a few weeks ago. I was on the 2 step for 15-20 secs with both cars fully staged. Trans went into safe mode dropped boost then he dropped the tree.

I've never locked it under power due to fear of the big BOOM, eventhough everything is built to handle it.
I do like the converter for the fact that I can build boost easily off the footbrake, however, it's just so loose. 500 rpm shift extension. 20% slip at 100 mph on the 10sec run and more under 5900 rpm.

Don't be scared of breaking parts. Lock it at 110 or so and give it enough time to tighten a little itself. You should only be dealing with significantly less than 1000rpm of slip at that point. Check your logs to see what you think slip is at that point.

16-17 psi. But I don't think the turbo is doing much over 15 psi however. 15 psi from this turbo does around 730-750 rwhp usually, however the wheel is only rated for 1000 and the baby 83 turbine not anywhere near that im sure. We will see with the new intercooler. I may be overly optimistic but I think the intercooler alone is going to show bigtime gains.
