Ah there's your times.
Nice runs.
Looking back wish I'd made a couple of NA passes Sat night.
Wouldn't have gone as fast as you did but might have got a new NA PB if she hooked.

Congrats on your new best. I'd think you'd be faster though. My mild modded slow *** cali truck runs quicker. What was your 1/8 et and mph? I think you've got more in it, it has to be the tune.

Good start man, always good to feel a new engine out before adding the squeeze. Look forward to the results.

yeah it still needs a lot of tuning. looking back over the logs it was rich then it leaned out, and it is not doing what I had setup the PE to do. Not real bad either way, but 11.9 at the low, and 13.0 at the high. I never played with the cal-tracs either, just made 2 passes and adjusted the shocks both runs. I have some stuff holding me back too, intake , and Exhaust. I will play more next time when I tune it with my new V2 cable I just ordered. I want to run 3.5" pipe, and get a different intake mani. My H/C 5.3 only ran the best of a 13.1 and dyno'd 377/356, 6 tenths is a good gain to start with I think.

11.0:1 is well within the pump gas limits. some have gone over 12.0:1 on pump 93.

I don't know I would go as far as "well within" but clearly he is doing it with out any issues yet. I have always heard and seen that 11:1 is the time to start looking into higher octane fuels. Not needed but usually time to start mixing or running something better.

I know lots of things go into the equation but stepping up to race fuel would make huge power gains and make it safe to push it hard. You could add a good deal of timing and still have no concerns of detonation.
