Default new times

Well finally got the truck to the track after the cam swap in May. Headers 2 months ago. Mods are the following, 224/224 .581/.581 110+4 cam, pacesetter LTs, Outlaw intake, Imco muffler, and a tune of course. Still running the stock convertor which explains my horrible 60' times.

Here is the slip from my first run which happened to be the best of the day.

RT-.794
60'-2.312
1/8th et-9.416
1/8th mph-77.712
1/4 et-14.539
1/4 mph-94.775

I followed this up with 2 14.7s and a 14.8. My 60' times are simply atrocious. The tune has some more in it I think, I'm only spinning up to 6k on the 1-2 and 5800 on the 2-3 so there is definitely more in the cam. I just need to get the convertor in to help with keep it in the cams sweet spot. This definitely gives me a baseline though on what I need to work on to achieve 12s.

Glad you made it today! Congrats on the new best and baseline times. Get that converter in there and back to the track.

Man, you got a lot left in your setup with a converter. Nice times though.

Wow, I went 14.59 with the only mods being Corsa, thermostat, Outlaw air intake, and programming at full weight on the 20's. The 60' times are terrible, but you aren't pulling the mph anywhere near what you should be. I'd say you have alot of tuning to do. With your parts you should be well into the 13's.

yeah there is still a lot of work to be done fine tuning the tune . Then once the convertor goes in it should hit low 13s easily if I can get a set of slicks

I have no clue what the race weight ended up being. Did you end up showing up yesterday Jason? Shift points were low because it was a base tune to get me started and I never got a chance to have it retuned before going to the track. I recently purchased EFI Live though and it should be here next week. There will definitely be some big changes in the tuning made

Nah, I never made it. My car club was there too. The white regency, sts turbo truck with graphics. I got in a little trouble friday night. I hope to get back to the track soon.
