Default Need advice on a diff

As you might have read in my Goodyear thread, I toasted my diff by the end of the night. It was the stock rear end (limited slip) with 410 gears. Still driving on one wheel.

I need to go to a posi I presume. Can someone point me in the right direction for reasonable money ? Not building a Pro-stocker here...lol. Street truck with a little track action ! 465/450 tq and 3600 stall.

Thanks,
Pitt

The eaton posi with 410 gears has lasted me a long time with serious abuse. Most will tell you eaton posi or detroit locker. BOth are around $500.

eaton LSD or detroit true-trac

"eaton" makes both units, and both are very good.

I like my eaton, made a best run of 12.9 at 5300lbs in 70 degree weather, and the tru-trac is legendary soooo flip a coin?
