Its a vinyl cover so it only weighs about 20-30#. There is a gas station about 2 miles from my house that sells 100. The track is only 7 miles.
Its was 80* and my air intake temp was 95+ and I get around 2-3* of knock retard. If I mix the 91 and 100 I dont get any knock.

It may be the elevation and heat. My runs were between 65-80. elevation is 3000 with a da of around 5100-5200. found a correction calculator for da and it should be at 14.6

Your times sound right on IMO. I ran a 15.1@89 back in the day with a 5.3 tune, exhaust and 3K stall. A converter will help you a lot. Dont the C3s come with 4.10s? If so I wouldnt bother changing them for the price its going to cost you for both differentials.

C3s came with 3.73 and the 02+ Denali had 4.10. Car and driver had an artical on the C3 and staited that it will run a 15.7 sec 1/4 stock. Hopefully by Jan/Feb I will have my trans, WCCH heads, and cam installed. And have an in person tune done.

Been reading around the forum about CR. My lq4 has a cr of about 9.4. I'm going to get a set of CNCd heads anyway so I was wondering would it be worth getting the ls6
(243) heads to get the cr to about 10.1. How would that affect boost? only planning on running 6-7 psi untill I can get a forged motor installed.

The stall will take .5 or better off your 1/4 also with firmer shifts from an upgraded trans you might shave another thenth or two.
