Default Launch from the line: brake stall or flash

I have been watching the thread from white1 and his stall woes and it got me to thinking. At the strip I have always gotten into the lights used the brakes to stall to the max rpm without turning the tires when the lights go I just give it all the gas I can and release the brake. I see others here just hold the brake (no brake stall just enough to keep you from rolling) and when the light turns they jam the pedal to use the flash stall. Is anyone using this method and how well does it work. I hope this is not to much of a noob question but I want to see how it works.

with the factory stall i would brake stall it it 1000 rpm. on the tb stall i brake it up around 1600. flash stalling is what works for me...try both different ways and check the 60' times. use whichever method you truck runs best with.

when i was stock i would go to about 1000 to 1100 rpms and then matt it.

for any type of stall i would take it up to about 1500 to 1700 rpms. once it goes yellow matt it and off you go

Ive had better luck with just holding it at 1200rpm and flashing it, my converter flashes anywhere from 3200-3400, where as I can only brake stall to aprroximately 2600.

I get my best 60' times by brake stalling to all the brakes will hold. About 2800 now. Also think its a bit easier on the drivetrain.

to much stalling on the line will create a hot converter which will net slower times
