we took my cousins 5.3 silverado out to the track and made one motor pass then we decided to try the 100 shot and this is what happened about 30 feet before the finish line. the caltracs were set a little too tight and it shock the et streets right out the gate and only managed a 1.71 60' but still put us in the 11's! much more too come is all i haft to say!!

Oops. Did you cut out some of the driveshaft for weight reducion!? I can't beleive it tore it to shreds like that.

nope, we didnt touch the DS but i told my self the same thing when it happened and i also dont see how it happened on the big end i thought for sure that would happen out the gate. here is the video.

 

Looks like you were past the line when it broke. Did it maybe hapen when let out of the throttle? Guess it is time to get an aluminum one!

 

well the video only makes it seem that way. it was making noise before the trap. i wasnt the driver so i couldnt say wether or not it was after he let out but he said it was before the trap but it doesnt seem like it was enough to slow the truck down on the big end. the 60' on the other hand was awful. i think there was still some air in the solenoids.
