well me and a buddy of mine went out to make a couple of runs to see where my truck stands since the radix. he has a 98 camaro z28, here's the list of his mods:
longtubes, offroad y, hooker exhaust, 3.90 gears, p&p throttle body, 3600 stall, ud pulleys, slp lid, 232/228 573/571 113 cam, tuned. made 374hp/367tq on motor, and ran 11.80 @116mph.

we went from a dig and he spun a little and i rolled in the throttle in 4wd, cuz otherwise it goes all over the road, and i put a truck length on him out of the hole and held him there till 90mph and then he started pulling when i hit 3rd. and when i shut down at 110mph he had me by 3 cars. damn heavy, non aerodynamic truck!! but still i was impressed as well as him. then we went from a 30 roll and he gave me the hit and i put about a car and a half on him and held him there till around 100mph, and then he started pulling back and he came by me at about 108-110mph. so all in all im pretty impressed. but later that night i was racing a guy and was just easing into the throttle and boom! the output shaft shattered. so now i have to fix that before i can go to the track! but i think that it should run somewhere in the 12.40 range if i can launch it a little harder at the track. what do you guys think?

 

That sounds like a fast truck! Do you have a 5.3 or a 6.0? Can't wait to hear your et's at the track.

its a 5.3. and no not yet. i havnt had time to do anything since i broke the tranny. should get it going by this weekend though.
