AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH, I knew you were goin to say that. That truck needs at least a 3800. The motor makes awesome power from 4000 and up. That's a lot of cam though for such a little motor. They don't make killer torque anyways, I bet 1.6's would not be out of the question with a looser converter.

Half of a tenth... lol
More stall will help, or you could take the streetable approach and do some head work...

Thats something to look into rhino/tan..... Id like to see what some headwork would help on mine.

My nitrous would love about a 10.5:1 comp ratio.

Yeah but then he wouldn't be "Cam Only". He drive this truck very very little and has another vehicle, More stall will give it what it needs.

It's getting there, 10.50 1000's ARE in it now with more time in on the tune, but it's a low 10 sec 1000 with more converter.

Gawd!! I want to ride in it before and after a 4k converter tho....LOL

maybe try going to 4.56 gear and a 3400 converter? but then he needs to commit to NEVER wanting spray. Or running like a 30" slick.

Screw another gear swap, and the converter will probably stay for the rest of this year. I plan on spraying it and leaving everything else alone for now.
