You've got a lot to gain in the 60' so dont dwindle on the 13.36. And also, comparing FI to nitrous is a completely different story. FI is harder to get the combo matched right IMO. You have an air pump driving an air pump, so the dynamics of the blower/turbo have to be matched to the engine. Nitrous is just better air, not forced air IMO. You dont have efficiency maps of how the bottle varies with total engine air flow like you do with turbos.

Ask the guy that took a cammed 6.0l that shifted at 6600n/a and threw a turbo on it. It feel over at 5500rpms with the turbo. Nitrous wouldn't have done that. I didn't match the turbo correctly.

Blowers may be completely different, but I've been around a few small shot vehicles (sub 200) and a couple turbo rigs. I have never seen something run worse with 100 shot, but I have saw a truck run worse on 4-6lbs(mine).

I used to bash on FI trucks, but then realized they are not always running to their full potential. 90% of nitrous peoples times are ***** out, everything working right. Boost guys dont run to their potential as often as nitrous trucks. They are more involved.
This is a good explanation of what I am talking about. And a damn good explanation for those who don't fully grasp the tuning. I can't tune my self but I understand where you are trying to get. Proper air and fuel at all rpms and loads.

This has me thinking about how a 300 shot might be as nice as a turbo in many ways too. I am going to stick with my turbo for now, but too many headaches and 300 of juice here i come!

13.3@103 for a stock truck with a procharger is great in my book. you have plenty of room for improvement and already can hurt peoples feels, great job sir.

Sounds like pretty solid times. A better converter and some sticky tires you should easily be in the 12's. My ls1 swapped c10 ran 12.9's at 105 with a 1.97 60ft time. Keep digging away you will get it there!

Keep the 4.10s without doubt. As far as stall goes. I think a proper speced stall from Chris at circleD will be the way to go. I think a nice 3400 with well setup efficiency will be awesome.

okay sounds good. I didn't know if the pro chargers like gears the same as turbos or not. I will have some new times in April. The track doesn't open tell then . I'm not use to this whole closing for months thing at the track.

Thats a great MPH IMO, if you can hook with a sticky tire 12.70s are there as stated. Once you get the converter and tire combo the next step is assassin traction bars or caltraks and I bet you'd get low 12s out of her. The truck is fast don't listen to the rest bud!

If your running the wider band you must buy a new reverse input drum. The old band has already wore the drum so only the outside of the wide band will be holding on the drum. Good luck

custm2500 leave the kid alone. As he mention he is in school on a budget, doing the best he can. No one want's to hear from you or about your lame *** truck!

I am not attacking the op.

In an aggressive manner i was telling him there is something that needs to change with his set up. And deeper looking reveals the biggest issue is the converter.

If thats all you wanted to say then thats all you would have said... instead you added the other extraneous BS about hitting walls etc. You could have, and should have just said it another way that not so "aggressive" or how about for a change, not saying anything.
