I finally got the converter " circle d 3200", long tubes, and a 224/230 .581/.591 114 cam. Hope to at lease be in the mid 12's with this setup.. Will be adding tires and assassins traction bars.

 

Curious what made you pick that cam? Make sure you use a good valve spring.

 

I was going to run a 223/231 610/617 cam . But I had a friend give me this one after trading in there truck . I will be running dual valve springs for it . only thing that's going to suck in my tuner is down in FL . So I will be having to do dyno pulls at school and sending him the files after each pull.

It will run ok but with a 5.3 and a 3200 stall on a procharged setup it would be no where close to my first choice.

 

What is something more of what you would of gone with then ?

 

Great first times man. Look at mine with my stock truck with a little boost.

that was sec time out. 1st time it was running a 2.14 60ft 13.73 et 98.94mph... next weekend it did the 2.12 60ft 13.36 et 103.97 mph. I will be seeing how just the stall and long tubes help out 1st. Then will be doing cam about a month later.
I'm not use to this track closing for so long thing.

 

I would guess the stall and headers will get you 12.5 or better. She should be a whole new animal!

 

I'm hoping for some where in there. Track doesn't open tell April 5th tho....

 

You live near Milan? Or does your track have the same open day as my local track?
